Cerro Marahuaca is a mountain located in the Amazon Rainforest of Venezuela. It has an elevation of approximately 2,720 meters (8,920 feet) and is part of the Guiana Shield. The mountain is known for its unique geology and biodiverse ecosystem, with a variety of plant and animal species that can be found only in this region. Cerro Marahuaca is also considered to be a sacred site by the indigenous Piaroa people, who have lived in the area for centuries. Due to its remote location and difficult terrain, Cerro Marahuaca remains largely unexplored by outsiders and is one of the few places in the world where uncontacted tribes still exist.
